Mariah's any day of the week, omfg her career is what dreams are made of 

 

the ups, the downs, the backlash, the drama, the brilliance… it all amounts to the kind of career so many musicians of so many genres yearn to have. I'm not trying to romanticize her mental health struggles, but I am trying to shine a light  on how best to rise above and reignite a career. Mariah reignited her career in a way that proves that tenacity is something to always strive to possess. and that being said, Mariah's peaks are sky high. as a singer/songwriter myself, if I could ever have one era even somewhat resembling the magic of her self-titled, Daydream, or TEoM, my life would be made. I'd die so happy lol. I know how dramatic it sounds but it's true!

Mariah is one of the greats in music though and is a legend and respected in ways that JLo (sadly) isn't, plus she's immortalised with AIWFCIY so

i guess it's because actors are getting paid more, and mariah hasn't toured that much.

Why are Gen Z propagating this false myth that J. Lo was ever viewed as a talented and gifted musician or artist when she was new? In fact, she was the original industry plant!

 

To suggest that J. Lo was ever perceived as an originator of any era in music or that she possessed the singing or writing talent of Mariah is certifiably crazy!

 

To put it into perspective, it is like saying there is a danger that Ava Max is more talented than Lady Gaga and might surpass her and be better remembered in decades to come!
