Gaga got screwed over with Die with A Smile...

So I heard their song in passing on instagram/tiktok for the past few weeks but had no idea it was her and Bruno, thought it was some old song. Now that I've heard the song in whole, it could have been done by Bruno Mars himself. Gaga isn't given any significant solos during the song before Brunos jumps in everytime. He kinda overshadows her because of this. I feel like Gaga got the short end of the stick.

Yeah, I mean it's obvious with how the solo lead single off her next album hasn't had nearly the same amount of success as DWAS.

Im not negating the songs success what I'm saying is that gaga deserved to sing more in the song without Bruno. I dont feel like she got to shine like he did.

Honestly yeah Bruno could have very easily carry this on his own. Not sure why this is such a hard pill to swallow.

thank you! I was gonna bring that up. It was clearly just his song and Bruno just thought of her and wanted her on it. It's actually pretty sweet to me.

Both singles debuted with about the same streams  the GP clearly prefered DWAS so they kept streaming it. This narrative of Bruno being the sole reason for its success would make sense had the song not grown and exploded like 10 days after release. I mean, there were threads where OGHs blamed Gaga for the song not smashing the first few days

Not sure about all that, but Bruno's tone is incredible on that song. Gaga's not so much. I'd love to hear a solo Bruno version of it
