It might take a couple years, but yeah, it'll get there. Someone in this thread said it's around 8m units in the US currently.

Certifications should be automatic. The fact that RIAA relies on labels paying them to update is ridiculous :rip:

exactly. the only time they do them for free is when an artist dies I think :rip: I've seen them certify work post death for their articles before

The boost for Cruel Summer truly helped accelerate the process tbh. I hope Midnight Rain or YOYOK get a revival too to help Midnights :'(
