'Yikes!' Ellen DeGeneres shows floods near home in California

"This creek never flows, ever," says the star as extreme rain brings a deluge to California and Ellen DeGeneres adds, "Mother Nature is not happy with us."

No wonder there are girls wanting to buy a convent on a hill above everyone else.

she really picked the worst time to move to the uk :rip: while the weather is overall pretty mild and there aren't any serious natural disasters, she's gonna have to get used to all the worst things about winter here: usually 2-3 pretty bad storms, the sun setting between 3:50-4:30pm, snow causing chaos since it's so rare there are no preparations and rain on 50% of the days.

She is guilty of something hmm:lakitu:

I also discovered today that Pauly D from Jersey shore unfollowed Ellen DeGeneres. He must've done it at some point this year because I checked earlier this year. The significance is that he used to only follow Ellen DeGeneres on Instagram. He then eventually started following his girlfriend and a couple stan accounts. Call me weird for checking idc. Just thought that was interesting.

UK legit gets around 10 storms over December so it's the worst time here. Plus no sunshine in the winter.

The hate train for her is so overblown.  We get it, she was mean on set.  Her show is now over and she's pretty much done career wise.  What now?

Maybe she could apologize and acknowledge her actions were wrong?

She did.

Even if she didn't, does she deserve the outsized hate nearly FIVE years later?  There are people in show business who have done much worse that get much less online vitriol.

"I learned that things happen here that never should have happened" is a cop out. She created a toxic work environment and then denied she knew about it.

Rich of you to assume every poor person can afford one. Do you insure every appliance at your home from the car to the blowdryer? :clack:

Actually yes I do.

that's the way home insurance works here. It's pretty standard.

it's not the Govts job to protect everyone from everything under all circumstances.
