Doesn't this type of tribalism not also occur among African-Americans? For instance, neoliberal capitalist African-Americans often look down on and actively oppose the causes championed by leftist African-Americans. Consider how Obama was critical of Black Lives Matter during the 2010s and only embraced it in 2020 when it became politically safer to do so, or how billionaires like Jay-Z urge African-Americans to "move on" from activism, as seen in the NFL controversy. Snobbery exists among all humans, so I wouldn't use some Africans looking down on or thinking they're better than African-Americans as a basis to question their Blackness.

Now whenever AA say that Tyla is Black it's a problem and when they say "then I guess people not from here aren't Black since they don't wanna be considered such" it's also a problem.
