Kalmanta Posted November 30 Posted November 30 When we get another genre-bending, this time 4-part masterpiece for act III For me it's Honey > Sweet > Buckin, but the production is amazing throughout the whole song, Pharrell and Bey really went in. I mean interpolating Patsy Cline over a Jersey beat? Instant Classiqué
Comedor Posted November 30 Posted November 30 One of the highlights of the album and I love Shaboozey's part.
Dante Silva Posted November 30 Posted November 30 (edited) It's been a full song since 1961. "Sweet" is an interpolation of an all time, old school staple of the country music genre, "I Fall to Pieces" by Patsy Cline. The song is considered a "Golden Great" and a timeless example of the country music genre. The song (like Patsy Cline) is a key influence woven in to the fabric of all post modern/ new country artists from Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood to Kacey Musgraves.
