WhateverYouWant Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I was too young to fully appreciate Britney's prime. This album is perfect imo. My Prerogative is a top 3 Britney song for me. This complication album also gave us Do Something (in my top 10) and I've just begun (having my fun). I stan Britney from this to blackout. Thoughts ? 5
TryMe Posted November 30 Posted November 30 You should get into the performances. There still hasn't been a MPG that has topped her performances. 4

Frozen99 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 My Prerogative was written for her, fits her so well 2 1
JustHoran Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I am so glad I experienced Britney from her debut. There wasn't (and still hasn't been) an artist like her 2 1

WhateverYouWant Posted November 30 Author Posted November 30 (edited) This complication album still had better sales than most of the industry at the time. And that was her off year Edited November 30 by WhateverYouWant

ChooseyLover Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I remember being obsessed with the album cover and wanting that album so bad for Christmas. I got an abominable pirate copy instead... 1
havewemet Posted November 30 Posted November 30 One of my fave Britney videos too!! "They say I'm crazy" then crashing her car into the pool. Fun fact - the first song Britney sang on TV when she was 8 years old had the same opening line: "they say I'm crazy." It's funny because people still say it about her all the time but the best artists are always a little crazy. She's a genius and choosing to cover this song at that point in her career proves it. A queen!! And having a GH album after 3 albums is legend level behaviour. 1
Theluckyone Posted November 30 Posted November 30 That was the time I discovered Britney! And found the old Hollywood forums, which subsequently became BMK that has now sadly closed. Memories… Truly a classic collection of hits.

I stan since the very beginning and wow, what a ride it was! The excitement with each album coming out and then hoping your favorite song would become a single and get a music video, watching the VMA's waiting for her to perform, going to the movies on premiere night to see Crossroads, rooting for her comeback and then LIVING for the Circus era. So many moments! I'm so proud of her trajectory.
theweekend Posted November 30 Posted November 30 yeah. I'm glad I bought the special edition of double CDs and the DVD one because it looks flawless until today. I've just begun (having my fun) is a standout track for me. My Prerogative video is prolly one of Britney's best videos.
prézli Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Her beauty peak. A studio album with songs like Do Somethin' and I've Just Begun would've been as influential as what Blackout turned out to be. Timeless, fun pop songs. 3
geddymonster Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I remember getting the deluxe digipack from Target back when it was released.
charmed23 Posted December 1 Posted December 1 I still remember buying the DVD. Still have it actually. What an iconic run of FILMOGRAPHY. Wish the DVD had included videos for Do Somethin and Someday I Will Understand though. @WhateverYouWantalso I think you meant *compilation* album?
