can anyone give me a very brief rundown on what happened and why they've been having issues with their lable and stuff? also I highly doubt they'll remain as a group now sadly

its sad because even if they stick together their new music and visuals will not be as immaculate as what thy have served. they had such an intricate team around them that took care of every single miniscule detail of their art and it showed....oh well

They basically planned to shelve them in favor of illit.

Then it turned out they were caught plagrizing NJs for their debut. They literally asked for newjeans plans and used them for illit.

yeah it's kinda bittersweet as NJ is the first kpop group ive really gotten invested in since f(x) and this has caused their career to come to a complete halt right at its peak. I'm glad they stood up for themselves and got out but I really hope they're able to bounce back after this, kpop moves so quickly and i'm scared their fans will move on like with Loona

it's also insane how many brand deals and high fashion labels these girls got attached to so quickly, they have lots of industry connections they can use. cant say the same for ILLITerate
