babyforlife Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Bali for the culture or Bangkok (Capital Gay City of Asia and its culture as well) these two cities are also very cheap yet has many amazing places, food etc 3
Støned Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Come to Vietnam. Healthy food, nice people, and cheap cost of living. Just taper your expectations because it's a 3rd world country.

And you're talking about... which countries? OP said they can work from anywhere in the planet, so I guess the wage to be able to stay anywhere in the world is there, and the question wasn't just about the money

The idea is getting more bang for your buck by going somewhere cheaper. That somewhere usually ends up being 3rd world countries.

Dubai, no? Taxed based on home country. 7 hours ago, Edonis said: Idk, have you done remote work before? I feel like depending on what your role is and how your company views remote work is going to heavily influence your ability to travel and your lifestyle. For most companies, working from home just means 9-5 but in your home office so idk. But if you do have the flexibility to jump time zones and work off your own schedule and hours, then go for the travel option. I had 2-3 days at home before, but I was promoted to a new more specified role. They don't care when I do my work as long as it gets done. My new boss is on a whole other continent with a 6 hour time difference. 1
