• Lana and Olivia have extended their 2023 eras to become essential live acts and streaming queens
• Selena Gomez continues garnering acclaim for her acting on tv and film

 

Has any other label seen the amount of success Interscope artists have received this year?

Honestly this. Their past reputation for unfairly treating the majority of failed ex-acts to now holding two simultaneous pop breakout Grammy-nominated forerunners is very impressive.

Interscope's had a solid year, but let's not pretend like Republic Records isn't giving them a run for their money.

 

Taylor Swift absolutely dominating album sales and touring, Morgan Wallen's & Post Malone's huge numbers + Ariana with eternal sunshine. Could try to sneak in Nicki but that's not a hill I'm willing to die on

 

If you check market share data, Republic's been on top for the whole year (as it was in 2023). Though one could argue that it's pushed to the top only cause of Taylor

 

Also, I think Republic distribute's Island's artists in the US, so you could count Sabrina and Chappell in there too

Actually it 100% has been an AMAZING year for Selena. She's by far one of 2024 biggest winners, just not in music and its not even her focus. 

 

billionaire status with her business, Cannes winner, Emmy, Golde Globes and SAG nominated actress, acclaimed movie, another acclaimed OMITB season (and #1 on streaming platforms) — she's basically confirmed to be nominated as best actress on all awards again for her show according to the predictions and even her cute little Wizards comeback (that ofc she's not a main actress cuz she's busy) went #1 on disney+. 
 

it has been such a winning year for Selena. Since Cannes its a win after win after win for her career.
