It amazes me how her music has gotten better and better but her sales have drop with each project.

The way she still managed to sell almost 1M copies with no hits and in a complicated climate with Day Breaks it's still amazing! Only after that she has been flopping but not many artists could manage to have that sales with many albums, no hits and promo

Her best album imo also love the two part story she did with HP and Miriam MV's :WAP: that era was so much fun to witness as a Norah stan

It's a cute song. Nothing extraordinary. She needs another Chasing Pirates or a Sunrise :jonnycat:

For her standards (a jazz singer) it's a bop for sure but clearly your empty mind wouldn't get itspacer.png

Her project with Danger Mouse and Jack White being the psychedelic pop Dua thought she could serve

She had Tony Bennett's approval and that's what matters the most

SPEAK! This song is a masterpiece, it's basically her being in her mother's place and reliving the pain her father caused.

A decade later and it still sounds fresher than 80% of the stuff on the charts :khalyan2:

I remember this used to play on VH1 every day for some time. It's a staple on my car rides playlist.

I immediately thought of Happy Pills when I saw the thread title.

Underrated underlistened masterpiece! Her best album, too. Peak Danger Mouse.

Yes, I knew she released this banger.

But no, I did not ignore it!
