Why is Michael Jackson still so respected/loved?

Most people still refer to him as the King of Pop, MTV's Lifetime Achievement award is still named after him, musicals/touring productions based on his music sell out around the world to this day...

 

A lot of celebrities have been cancelled for much less serious things than what he was accused of during his day.

 

Is it just because his music is that good?

Well his accusers have changed their stories several times.

 

Plus he along with Madonna pioneered what it means to be a pop star.

 

Almost anything our favs have done MJ probably did it years ago.

 

And yes the music is that good.

Because they were lies, and millions of people know that. People keep attempting taking down the Jackson's because they are successful and black. Theyve attempted destroying both Michael and Janet.

She isn't. She has no accusers and has never paid victim(s) to avoid criminal court.

Unlike a lot of artist that are overrated, he actually was talented in singing and dancing.

He'll always be a polarizing figure. Too much time has passed, and he's long gone, so it's not like he could say something or do something anymore about the constant allegations.

 

By the way, the media was too harsh with him the whole time, and that's why many people don't want to believe some stories about him. His mental health was in a constant doubtful state, and he definitely was part of some spectrum, but that's something we'll never know.

 

Despite being such an impactful figure, and the most influential icon when it comes to pop music, his whole persona was always a mystery, so I guess most people just respect him for what he brought to the music industry, but are reluctant to decide something about his personal life.

No. They came out in the early 90s, and the allegations became a grotesque constant joke in the 00s, when he was still alive

Hmmm.. I don't remember that but I have no reason to doubt you. Cancel culture wasn't a thing back then I guess. Was he ever taken to court though? Maybe that's why he was never taken down.

Wade Robson isn't the only person claiming MJ molested him.

I know you're trying to deflect and make her preying on very young teenage boys seem less controversial in comparison, but I wouldn't be surprised if she was on that same type of time as Michael

He was a cult leader and when you really listen to his lyrics of the songs that he wrote - he has absolutely nothing to say aside from a bunch of useless ramblings like "save the kids" which is ironic considering he was investigated for child abuse from as early as the 1980s by the FBI. His remaining fans are the type of people who still stan Chris Brown, they're welcome to their delusions but I'm not going to engage with people like that.
