Calvin Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not people dragging Taylor's streaming numbers in 2024. OTHs have really lost the plot lmao. 1
Cruel Summer Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Unnoticed? What kind of complete nonsense? It's a seven month old album with no single being actively promoted, it's set further streaming records after the debut week, and it's spent four months at #1. Do y'all even try anymore? 2
DevilsRollTheDice Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 2 albums in the US have scanned double platinum this year, including TTPD. TTPD is over 6 million. She's already blown past 10 million units worldwide. How y'all can muster up the delusion to come on this website and try to drag it when your faves can barely scrape platinum years after release will always send me 3
YellowRibbon Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sitting at 6M units, which is *4 million more* than some SMASH BLOCKBUSTERS WITH SMASHHHHHHH SINGLES is kinda funny when you think about it. Not everyone can sell vinyl variants it seems
Popboi. Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Neither Fortnight or ICDIWABH were Cruel Summer type of smashes to chart this long after losing playlist support. It's fine cause this helps with her not reaching overexposure. "Unnoticed" compared to Midnights is a stretch, 2023 was her absolute peak commercially and The Eras Tour kickstart bolstered it way more than anything would've done with TTPD. Taylena Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Poor Taylor Swift. If only she had the most streamed album of the year and dominated Spotify as the top streamed artist for 99% of the days this year. 2
Klein Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago What went wrong is neither the OTHs, nor the GP, nor the Swifties, nor Taylor's team, nor Taylor's herself are tasteful enough to latch onto Fresh Out The Slammer and make it the biggest song of her career. I think TTPD would've been at 20M units by now if things went right. 1
Imaginary Friend Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago It's not an album of hits or singles, I don't think anyone expects these style of songs to be smashing over half a year after release. If Taylor wanted to make an album of smash hit singles, she could (and she has done before), but she's doing something better than that.

HANZ94 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just like Cowboy Carter this álbum was pretty mediocre but they did massive numbers just because beyonce and Taylor have their names on them 1

Digitalism Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It's always funny how the fan bases are always the last to believe their favs started to underperform. This has happened with multiple fan bases over time. They defend an underporforming album and act as if it is big because of fan base sales. Everybody else can see the album didn't perform that well because the gp didn't connect with it. That's it. It will go down in time like speak now. 1 1

SharGaga Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago She's making space for the next album drop. That's genius.

It's at 12m units, will almost certainly end up as her biggest album since 1989, and has set a record pace for streams so far. 2

Raphy23 Posted 18 minutes ago Posted 18 minutes ago the whole album is filled with cringy lyrics like this "Sanctimoniously performing soliloquies I'll never see" I hope she goes back to red/1989 and even folklore style of writing for the next era(s). 1
Squall Posted 9 minutes ago Posted 9 minutes ago (edited) I would say people are too busy streaming and buying it as a whole, making it the biggest album in a calendar year since 25 Edited 9 minutes ago by Squall
