When she was on The Eras Tour, which is bigger than all Beyoncé's tours combined.

I feel like this is not examining Taylor Swift as an Artist correctly.  One of her biggest influences on the music industry has been re-writing the model of a pop star by merging the singer-songwriter type artists with the pop star mold that did not develop until the 80s.  As a result I think you need to look at her iconic moments from a sonic perspective.

my contenders are the following:

IKYWT:  Her first unapologetically pop song.

Blank Space: While SIO was massive, Blank Space was the moment the world came to the realization of the magnitude of the 1989 era.

Red TV release: Red was not quite fully appreciated when it was released, but the TV release really showcased how she is a generational artist.

I voted Blank Space but for me is that one moment she's wearing white sunglasses and puts the heart candy on her tongue :celestial5:

I actually agree, Taylor's career hasn't really been about the visual aspect, her career and music is iconic more as concepts than images. The "Taylor's Version" project in itself is probably more "iconic" than any visual moment of her career.

But a part of what an artist is remembered for is the image of them, which is what I'm curious about with this thread.

Putting it in the nicest way. Her strengths are in other areas like songwriting, marketing her brand and original sound/style.

Iconic, stage presence and memorable moments are not aligned with her in the best way.

She doesn't have one honestly

I would say an artist is remembered more for the idea of them, not just the image.  And Taylor represents Americana and is kind of like an anthropomorphic representation of the American cultural zeitgeist.  It's why it's a cultural moment when she is dating someone or make a political statement.  She is a vessel for people to project their ideas of Americana onto and have it reflected back to them.

So I feel like it is a little more complex than just looking great at the 2014 Grammys.

Taylor's iconography is in her lyrics than visuals.

Isn't that just the Kanye incident or do you mean the outfit itself?
