Achilles. Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Taylor smashing. Will become the biggest winner in Billboards history this year. Zach Bryan in rock categories is sending. Love that the Dolly Parton and Troye Sivan albums were big enough to score those noms. 1
tost1 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 I don't see any Dua nominations!!! (I don't see any nominations because I refuse to change to light mode) 4

X~MoviePoP Posted November 25 Posted November 25 So why is tyla in r&b here but the grammys had her in pop????
Feanor Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Taylor with 17 nominations, just one less than Zach Bryan, and that despite there not being any pop genre categories like there are for all the there genres. Sabrina being the 2nd most nominated female artist. Beyoncé also nominated in Top Country Female Artist, which she's sure to win. And also the awards taking place on Dec. 12, which means Taylor could attend… 1
Michael196 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Did they delay it to December so the queen could attend… 2
corotinho Posted November 25 Posted November 25 And ATRL really tried to make Ariana's eternal sunshine look like a big album hahahahahahahah 1 1
Kristie Kuwa Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Beyonce is winning Top Female Country Artist, isn't she? 1
thatsmydemi Posted November 25 Posted November 25 The most pointless awards out there. Just look at the charts and you'll know the winners. No need to watch the show. 6

Moonlight Nation Posted November 25 Posted November 25 2 hours ago, Hector said: Top New Artist Benson Boone Tommy Richman Chappell Roan Shaboozey Teddy Swims I genuinely think Chappell Roan could have a chance of winning here. "Good Luck, Babe!" might have not been as massive on the Hot 100 in comparison to the breakthrough hits from the other nominees, but it was still a strong hit. Most importantly, Chappell got seven charting entries this year, including a top 20 hit with "HOT TO GO!". Her third highest charting song, "Pink Pony Club", peaked at #26. Meanwhile, here are the second highest charting songs from her competitors: Benson Boone: "Slow It Down" at #32 - legit hit. Two more short-lived entries this year Tommy Richman: "DEVIL IS A LIE" at #32 - front-loaded performance Shaboozey: "SPAGUETTII" at #31 - short-lived entry off Beyoncé's "COWBOY CARTER" album bomb Teddy Swims: "The Door" at #24 - legit hit, but his other two entries were short-lived and had low peaks. In addition, Chappell comfortably saw the most success on the Billboard 200, which is also taken into account for this award. #2 peak and many weeks in the top 10 for "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess". Teddy Swims' debut might have charted for longer (58 weeks vs. 34 weeks as I'm writing this post), but it only peaked at #17. Benson and Shaboozey's debuts both peaked in the top 10 but remained stable lower down the charts, while poor Tommy Richman didn't even get to chart on the Billboard 200. 2

Benson and Shaboozey's debuts both peaked in the top 10 but remained stable lower down the charts, while poor Tommy Richman didn't even get to chart on the Billboard 200. I think she's taking it too. She had multiple charting songs (with a big longevity hit GLB) and also a smash album. Shaboozey, Benson and Teddy own three of the biggest Hot 100 hits of the year, but they didn't really perform that amazingly well with their albums (with them staying mostly afloat on BB200 due to these hits). Tommy is out of question. While MDB pulled insane numbers in its first weeks, it didn't stick around like Lose Control, ABS or BT. Also, his album flopped (since he didn't include MDB nor DIAL on it, such a dumb decision ) It's most likely: Chappell > Teddy > Benson > Shaboozey >>> Tommy when it comes to the chances of winning, based on their 2024's chart performance on both Hot 100 and BB200. Teddy released music earlier than Benson, and Benson released earlier than Shaboozey, that's why they are ranked in this order, since they had more weeks to gain points. 2
