NoOneDiesFromLove Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago What about the thousands of Americans invading Mexico over the past few years omg
Hollywood. Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I can't speak to the US, but in Canada you can get in trouble if you work for a Canadian company remotely from another county. Granted many retired people already have homes or have permanently moved to countries with lower costs of living. We call them "snow birds" as majority flock to southern or warmer climates for the winter. 1
Cain Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Some people actually do! Me personally, I have my life, my friends, my family here and live in a very international city with lots of international artists coming here to tour, parties to go to, exhibitions, events and happenings Living somewhere is about way more than just having a house (for me), it's all the activities and network that a city brings with it as well
Capris Groove Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago People underestimate the difficulty of moving. It's not just getting the practical things sorted out, it's a huge shock to the nervous system to change environments and it often takes a while to show up once you've already moved. We still have the brain of a tribal mammal and we really like familiarity.

While it doesn't go far in Germany, you can get by on it in many other countries. 5k in Germany is upper class, wtf are you talking about "doesn't go far"
