Freaky Prince Posted November 30 Author Posted November 30 Added the results in excel and I'm a bit shook at the leading song so far, tho the latest entry gave it its lowest point so far so it might change 23 participants so far
Ewan Chaos Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Absolutely in, add me to the taglist if I take a while to get my scores in 1

Its the type of song that really suits Xenomania's production, and i find it actually lowkey better than the 80s version ngl Single edit > edit on The Sound of Girls Aloud

Scandalous Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Submitted relistened to the whole list twice before entering my scores, and as someone who didn't become a GA fan until after they disbanded it really put into perspective how baffling some of their singles choices were for such an excellent discography they really chose some weak ass singles, especially the Chemistry era sans Biology was boring af for such a great and diverse album 1
BraveNewSeth Posted December 2 Posted December 2 @Freaky Prince how many entries do you have so far? I stan Girls Aloud and would love to participate, but after the Shania singles rate I like there to be a certain number of participants before I join

I'd swap those with Models and Watch Me Go. And obviously BCYLM with OTM/ENAT. 1

As much of a bop Long Hot Summer is, its not lead single material. It actually felt more like a standalone single and it was meant to be one originally, since it was supposed to be on that Herby movie but it was placed on Chemistry after that didnt happen. Its easily their weakest lead and feels disjointed on Chemistry. Then there's See The Day. No comment. Whole Lotta History would've been a cute album cut but it felt redundant as a single and follow up to STD (). Chemistry is not the type of era that should have 2 ballad singles, let alone 2 consecutive ones at that. They're lucky Biology is their best song and helped camouflage all that mess. No wonder Something Kinda Ooh smashed right out of the gate, the UK was tired of their ballads. Models, Watch Me Go (!!!) and Wild Horses were all right there 2
Gabers05 Posted December 3 Posted December 3 Definitely doing this!! Need to be fair and resist the urge to give out so many 10s. But excited to partake in this. 1
Gelato Posted December 3 Posted December 3 (edited) chemistry single run was good to me idk. only one i'd replace is see the day. whole lotta history is a classic and long hot summer has had a redemption. and obviously biology is legendary too. i love models, waiting and watch me go but i can't imagine any of them as singles. they were born to be fan favourites/cult classics Edited December 3 by Gelato
