Do NOT offend queen Tate like that by comparing her to that TikTok girl

Do you ever get tired of hating Addison Rae? Like, does it not drain every ounce of energy in your soul to dedicate so much time and effort to tearing down someone who's just out here living her life? She's out here chasing her dreams, dancing, acting, and making a name for herself, and you're sitting there pouring all your creative energy into…complaints? Critiques? Memes about how much you can't stand her? It's giving unhealthy obsession, babe.

The wildest part is, the things people criticize her for are so surface-level. Oh no, she's successful because of TikTok! Heaven forbid someone adapts to a modern platform and thrives on it. Or, "She's not a real singer." Okay, and neither are half the people Hollywood keeps throwing into projects, but I don't see you writing essays about them.

Is it jealousy? Is it projection? Is it just trendy to hate people who are unapologetically themselves? Because newsflash: Addison Rae's existence doesn't take away from yours. There's room for all of us, even for people who are just figuring things out in public. You don't have to stan her, but can you at least take a break from being a professional hater?

Try putting that energy into something productive—learn a dance, bake a cake, volunteer. Or maybe, just maybe, find the audacity to let people live their lives.
