It's about time we start a viable 3rd and 4th party. :clap3:

He won't do it.
I LOVE Bernie but his biggest weakness was always his fear of in-party fighting and turmoil even tho he is technically an independent senator and not officially a dem

America is a two party country and there's a lot of laws that hold it in place. Any party created by Bernie Sanders would be a money making grift similar to Andrew Yang's Forward party.

Just a big ole waste of time and giving people false hope when it's clear the US has been sliding right-ward in views (see how Trans people are treated for just existing, the rise of "trad wives" in Gen Z, Andrew Tate/Jake Paul's large popularity, etc.). The same thing is happening in Netherlands and across the world.

No new law or government policy on economics is going to change these societal shifts driven by algorithms billionaires control.

The Democrats are so over :loki:

That to me reads like he's saying that leftists need to take over the Democrat Party, not that's he's starting a new one.

End those corrupt rats king!

Good. I'm 100% done with establishment Dems after this election. Blow them up. Divide the electorate and cause them to lose. I don't give a f**k at this point. They opened the door wide open to fascism.

Just read the full thing. Yeah he isn't saying to create a new party (sadly). He is just saying to support more  independents who caucus with the dems like him…. Disappointing. Oh well

So what do we do? Just give up and let the existing Democratic infrastructure remain in power, rendering them a permanent minority party? It's time to actually boldly try something new and previously unthinkable like Republicans decided to in 2016.

If he is starting a new political party now is the perfect time! It takes awhile to establish a new party especially in a 2 party system. It never made sense to me why the 3rd parties in the US only come out the woodwork every 4 years for the presidential election.
I hope they build themselves up at the ground level and start with state elections and congressional elections until they have a name. Then move up to state executive and Senate. Then go for the presidency.

3rd party can destroy the established party once and for good like it has been done in the past

Yesss, now that Democrats have handed America over to Trump, while Kamala is vacationing in Hawaii and Joe Biden is escalating WW3, they have ZERO credibility among the electorate. hopefully that will make it easier to remove them from power and rebuild the Democratic Party as the working class party Bernie envisions. :clap3:

He's not giving up until he's actually ******* dead because unlike the vast majority of politicians, his policies are rooted in a genuine love for human kind and a passion for equality. But this movement will never die because rugged individualism is EVIL and incompatible with human nature as a SOCIAL species.

I didn't say not to do it - in fact, i started by saying "unfortunately", which already tells you that i would support a new party. I'm stating a sad fact.
