Omg. When he wrote that first email following the election I wrote to my friend saying I think Bernie is planning a new party based on the "stay tuned" ending of that email. If this is true I need a cookie

I know he is one of the more acceptable old white men but I'm so damn tired of these raisins. It's time for fresh, new voices.

America needs an end to the rigid two party system, so this would be good in the long run.

But id be lying if I said I thought it would go well in the immediate future. It probably would result in complete Republican takeover due to divisions in the left vote. And the campaign against this new party in corporate media would be bruising.

No thank you. I'm not for THIS Republican party staying in power for the foreseeable future and that is exactly what will happen if the Dem party is split in 2.

 

I am however in favor of the progressive wing of the Dem party taking over and setting the party's agenda.
