jezebelvictoria Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I hate musicals too but want to see 'Wicked'. 2
havewemet Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The idea that Adele of all people can't relate to someone overly dramatizing events through song I have to laugh. People who 'don't like musicals' often follow that sentence up with but I love Chicago, or Moulin Rouge, or Mamma Mia, or any effing Disney movie ever made. Some of the greatest movies of all time are musicals AND lots of great movies feature some kind of musical performance or moment. Stop lying to yourselves and enjoy musicals the way people have been for hundreds of years. 7 5 1
campelo Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago imagine being a singer-songwriter and not enjoy musicals....like how sad and empty you have to be to not enjoy singing in the rain, all that jazz, dancer in the dark, the umbrellas of cherbourg, yentl, Evita...just because they are musicals 1 1 3

John Slayne Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago she's British, of course she doesn't like musicals lol i feel the same way tbh and probably won't see Wicked for that reason.

Kool_Aid_King Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I also don't like musicals, but my love for Ariana supersedes my disdain for them, so I can relate to Adele fully. Some of y'all are so dramatic in here. Not everyone has to like what you guys like and just cause she's a singer doesn't mean she has to like musical films. There's duality.
StonedSoulPicnic Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Quote And that she would love to be on Broadway, specifically playing the part of Mama Rose in Gypsy. But, she says, "like when I'm 50. https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/2016/10/adele-cover-story Maybe she'll change her mind again.
