Now this. That user just keeps making it worse for himself 1

The nerve some of yall have to call others weird and cultish when you're a user on a pop forum with a monkey touching a shirtless man's pecs on your avi let's get some self awareness sis 4 1

Wicked Posted November 23 Posted November 23 1,5B for that type of album on Spotify is good tho. CC automatically had less of an audience because Roots music is local (y'all been saying this on here for 500 years and you denigrate American music that isn't Pop) whereas RO is a Pop album intended for mass appeal... Them reaching the same markers isn't a win for the latter album lol. CC actually overperformed commercially likely because of Beyonce's name. And no streams don't reflect quality, that's mad ignorant. My favorite album this year has less than 2M spotify plays I think 2 1 1
JonginBey Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Trying to create a stan war over who's making more pennies from Spotify. *****, you're bored.
Heart.me Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Because Houdini is a masterpiece better than the whole CC era. 2

This is the only reasonable conclusion I've gotten on this. Bey's PR machine is crazy good that her flops are just being ignored left and right 1
Erreur2 La Nature Posted November 23 Posted November 23 It will be funny if Cowboy Carter wins at the Grammy Awards considering it is her least deserving album lol. RO is a good album, no matter what ATRLers pretend, I am glad the public seems to continue enjoying it. 2

shyboi Posted November 23 Posted November 23 i feel terrible admitting this but i never went back to CC while godini and godning season are in constant rotation 3

This is her 3rd album. Bey's 3rd album was IASF, which became her biggest album to date. You tried. Try harder. Sabrina Carpenter and Charli would like to have a word

Truth Teller Posted November 24 Posted November 24 16 hours ago, shyboi said: i feel terrible admitting this but i never went back to CC while godini and godning season are in constant rotation This pretty much sums up why RO outstreamed. CC had an amazing start and I remember people loving it on first listen (sure, half were bandwagoners but I'm sure the other half actually loved it), but after the first impression washed away, they had nothing to do with it. Most of it is not the music they normally listen to and doesn't fit into their playlists and it's so long and genre-bending that it's hard to isolate individual songs. She really needed to actually push this one and actively create highlights and "force" people to go back to the album. On the contrary, no one paid attention to RO as a full album (the 20M average per song is shocking for her), but all she needed to get ahead in the long run was just 2 songs that people actually know and are listening to
Peak Now Posted November 24 Posted November 24 People talking about "streams =/÷ quality!!!" as if they weren't lashing Disease in the Spotify thread
Smarticle Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I see why the Bey stan ran into the Disease thread to get a few punches in now 3
