CC was completely abandoned by Beyoncé upon release, but the tea is that she's still being discussed with the newer pop girls and managed to put up her best streaming figures (one of the biggest debuts of the year) this many years into her career so keep it cute

And?  CC had impact and I would rather have an album with 0 streams that caused conversation, than an album with billions of streams that didn't.  
 

literally everywhere I go to this day, I hear people saying things like "I listen to black country music artists now because of Cowboy Carter".
