Shimenawa Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) And she doesn't question the release of River and that Pharrell song? Edited 9 hours ago by Shimenawa

There's this person I know who's an insta moot and it was so funny how they obsessed with that song and even related to its lyrics despite them being only 23 💀 1

It's useless to try and fight it. 3
rebeltwat Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I find her honesty very refreshing, even if she did trash it (she didn't)
Where are you now? Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I don't mind her trashing her old work that's already released. But I hate it when she does it before music is even released. She gets bored once something is 6 months old and she'll start the project all over... and that's why it takes her so long to release!
Abracadabra Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Atp I would be disappointed if Miley didn't shade her past work every era, it's iconic now
Happylittlepunk Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It must be so tiring being a Miley stan! I can't imagen how her forums and fansites are. Always dragging your previous work right before a new album drops. It's no wonder her career really is a roller coaster to follow. I understand she didn't really drag it but she will end up regretting it if she does because this song has potential too be iconic 10 or 20 years from now considering how much positive critical reception she got from fans and critics for the messaging of this song. Plus the entire song feels like a real career highlight in a way for Miley too.

Selegend Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) "Used to Be Young" is a beautiful song. But i never liked the fact that it was by a 30 year old Miley Cyrus that served good craziness for us, that kinda always annoyed me. So i get it.. but how can her mind change so fast? like that was 1 year ago lmao not 10 Edited 7 hours ago by Selegend 1
Princess Aurora Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) It's such a heartfelt song. Why is she dragging it? Edited 6 hours ago by Princess Aurora

But the lyrics aren't any more revealing that any of her other "personal" music She always does this, I wish she would just learn to stop critiquing every past release and embrace where she was at that time.

I know, i don't think the lyrics are ''too personal'' or ''too revealing'', but that's her opinion on her own work and life, i was just stating what she said about the song, she wasn't really disowning it.
Bloodflowers. Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Used To Be Young and Slide Away both deserved to be Flowers sized success but sometimes art is more important than money
