Some music from the 2010s has aged so horrifically, way worse than 2000s music imo - and the type of songs that aged the absolute worst from the 2010s are these overly saccharine, safe, sugary overly positive songs with this vibe "isn't everything great? Right? I'VE NEVER EVER BEEN HAPPIER, I LOVE MYSELF!!! " Happy, All About That Bass, Shake It Off, Roar, Brave, Fight Song, Can't Stop the Feeling!, M5's Sugar etc. lowkey one of the worst pop music phases Thank god Lana and Billie started depressing everyone 1

smartalek22 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago OT: something something retail worker is the most low hanging fruit "criticism" towards any popular song on the radio ever

UnusualBoy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I like the song, I think the issue with it is that it was overplayed to death.
TipToe Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I like the sing but yeah, it was overplayed. Back in 2014 i lived in another place where every morning a car doing promo for some store blasted Happy thru the speakers. I found it funny but I'm not surprised if it turned most neighbors into Pharrell haters.
