No, it's actually inspired by The Portrait of Dorian Gray

The way i knew exactly what MV it would be  

 

Love love love this song/MV in particular, i remember being obsessed with Foster The People in 2018 and this one was my favorite.

 

Anyways, i don't think it was influenced by it but they definetly have some similarities, yes. I immediately thought of this MV after i saw the movie.
