The Federal Police (PF) report concludes that Bolsonaro had "full knowledge" of the plan to assassinate President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Worker's Party), Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (Brazilian Socialist Party) and Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

The result of the investigation should be delivered this Thursday (21) to the Federal Supreme Court (STF). A CNN investigation shows that the federal police should indict Bolsonaro and allies in the investigation that is investigating an attempted coup d'état in Brazil, after the result of the 2022 presidential election. Former ministers such as General Augusto Heleno (former chief of the Institutional Security Bureau), Braga Netto (former Minister of Defense), as well as the president of the Bolsonaro's party (Liberal Party) Valdemar Costa Neto, and Alexandre Ramagem, former director of the Brazilian Intelligence Agency that ran for Rio de Janeiro's city hall this year, should also appear in the final report of the investigations.

On Tuesday (19), those involved in the preparation of the coup plot were arrested by the Federal Police. The testimony of Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, Bolsonaro's former aide-de-camp, given on Tuesday (19) was the last for the corporation to finalize the investigation that investigates the coup plot.

The Federal Police have indicted former President Jair Bolsonaro, his former Defense Minister, General Braga Netto, and his former aide-de-camp, Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, for attempted coup d'état. In total, 37 people were indicted by the PF for the crimes of violent abolition of the democratic rule of law, coup d'état and criminal organization.

Electronic secure voting that you know in the same day as the election who are the new elected politicians, unified voting system nationwide, a Superior Electoral Court, fascists going to the prison, a constitution that's only 35 years old... I love living in the greatest democracy of the americas

If i was Lula i would try to pass a law against Bolsonaro family and any person that self proclaim as a Bolsonarist. Cancel their rights as citzens and evict them all from the country. I'm not even kidding, these persons are a menace, they will never not ruin any model of democracy or stable State.

The ballots are electronic but not tied to any network, making them impossible to hack :gaycat4:

That makes it harder to compromise, but certainly not impossible. Air-gapped machines can be hacked.

Brazil's voting system is one of the most secure in the world. The voting machines are completely disconnected from the internet and its software is constantly tested yearly. Everybody votes regardless if you're living in an indigenous village in the middle of the amazon forest or in a metropolis. Of course computers can fail, but still a thousand times more secure and trustable than paper voting. And we also have a Electoral Court independent from the government and protected by the constitution.
