Mine:

 

Good PR 

 

Selena Gomez - Everyone knows her as the Instagram hottie blueprint & cute actress/singer. She has solid career stats which keep her afloat but in reality she's by light years the least talented Disney Channel graduate.

 

Gracie Abrams - Good but inoffensive songs. A 3-years late rehash of Olivia Rodrigo. Seems like the masterminds and connections behind the music industry are trying to make her happen though, not realising she lacks the star factor to stick. Target demographic includes teenagers aged 13-17.

 

Bad PR 

 

Carly Rae Jepsen - People know her as a one-hit-wonder but once you listen to her music outside her radio singles, you get to realize she's one heck of a talented artist who deserves more success. People just aren't aware her music exists.

 

Ashlee Simpson - Her career was over once she lip synced on SNL. However, her musical output is on par with her peers such as Avril or Hilary even today; people just forgot about her altogether in order to keep paying it attention.

Carly Rae doesn't have bad PR imo. Being considered a one hit wonder isn't really a bad thing, particularly when you have a core following and are a critic darling

 

she has a cult classic album, a universal classic hit that everyone knows and a couple of other decent-minor hits. The worst PR she had was people pretending to hate CMM during its run bcbcncncn

I think those good PR examples you cited actually belong in the bad PR examples 

 

Selena Gomez - Zionist, known to shade and start sh*t then immediately takes a social media break when people call her out on it.

 

Gracie Abrams - basic, industry plant, nepo baby

Mexican/Argentinian superstar Angela Aguilar has both the best and worst PR, the way she keeps drowning herself every time she opens her mouth and at the same time the way she's everywhere in Mexico is impressive
