People want to take the record away from LNX so bad, thats why they're miserably fake supporting this one hit wonder but it aint it and not worth it y all.

Just move on.

I know all these your tears stems from the fact that ABS has blocked DWAS from going no 1(when DWAS has a chance to top that same chat this coming week)

Rest

Feel bad for Shaboozey because he's country to the core but not for genre vulture Post.

Chris and Megan were really acclaimed so no shock here, also Country is very elitist to who they award, if you're not a purely country artist you'll never win anything, like when they instantly shut Taylor out when she tried pop.

Oh wow. Imagine having the biggest hit of the year and getting nothing in return :rip:

He got... the biggest hit of the year in return.

This is why I wouldn't be surprised if/when Chris Stapleton wins Best Country Album against Cowboy Carter at the Grammys.

The funny thing is that chris lost album of the year. Chris, Kacey and Lainey all lost CMAS's AOTY to someone else. He is not a lock at all to win and i still think beyonce will win it

Yes, country might consider post Shabozy and beyonce as gimmick attempts.

there goes that country support for AOTY.

If they did, they would not have nominated them. That is why Daddy Lessons was rejected. Beyonce was voted by country grammy voters into every country catgeory (The only person to do that, not even Chris did that)

How is one of the longest running #1s of history not the "single of the year", specially when there's other category for the song itself?

What Beyoncé said… :coffee2:

Arts not charts.

Shaboozy is going to clean up at the Billboard Awards, which are about chart performance.

Chris Stapleton is a CMA darling, I think he may even be the most awarded male artist there.. of course 'White House' was going to win.

Also the CMAs often time will not give the award to the 'biggest hit' (thankfully). That's how songs like 'Follow Your Arrow' have won Song of the Year.

Beyonce? Not even nominated?

Good.  Hopefully the Grammys follow suit.  Just because a song is massive doesn't make it awards-worthy.

He has. Always. And he has been struggling to break in for long.

So calling him phoney makes absolutely no sense.

Sturgill Simpson ROBBED

Posted

Post was deservedly snubbed but Shaboozey has a country song that is breaking all kinds of records and has spent almost half of the year at #1 on the all genres Hot 100. He is also the first black man to ever go #1 with a country song which is extremely culturally significant. Robbing him is outrageous.
