JoeAg Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Jenny Slate used to be funny before the Big Mouth era but I remember my ex girlfriend showing me one of her newer stand-ups in 2019 and it was so bad also yeah Matt Rife, Kevin Hart, Jimmy Fallon, Amy Schumer, Dave Chapelle, James Corden, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres, Trevor Noah I used to love Joan Rivers when I was younger but then I discovered she was a hardcore zionist and I lost pretty much all the respect I had for her it's a shame cause she talked about growing up jewish in a way that was often pretty relatable to the way my siblings and I grew up lol and she approached it with comedy so well! oh well… and unpopular opinion probably but I actually quite like Tiffany Haddish and Sarah Silverman
theoghon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I agree that most mainstream American comedians are unfunny...but Ellen is kinda the exception for me, always manages to get a few giggles
rhaenyra Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The only one that comes to mind I literally can't fathom how she has an audience, but maybe I shouldn't be surprised seeing the people's vote this past election Also a big yes to Kevin Hart Jimmy Fallon Edited 1 hour ago by rhaenyra
Capris Groove Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just about all of them except George Carlin, Joan Rivers, and Ricky Gervais.

I can listen them speak for hours (especially Kathy), they provide a "fun time" but they rarely crack a joke that would make me laugh

KillingYourCareer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Maybe it's a cultural thing, but every single video of those American stand-up comedians that I have seen has been so deeply unfunny to me! Edited 1 hour ago by KillingYourCareer

Darius Posted 31 minutes ago Posted 31 minutes ago Most of them. I'm surprised things like SNL still exist, tbh. I laugh harder scrolling through TikTok

I still have love for her too, and I'll every so often laugh at an interview or an old performance on youtube, but ahhhh she really was never afraid of any mess it's admirable in a way, I wish I could give as few f*cks as she did lol but yeah I concur, her death happened at the right time in the zeitgeist! it's sad that it was a preventable death but I do think she inspired sooooo many people and her legacy hasn't quite been diminished by cancellation
kellebrity98 Posted 19 minutes ago Posted 19 minutes ago the only comedian I love is the character Philomena Cunk, the others are meh
