She better keep showing off those vocals! :chick2:

I wish it was a longer version so she could've built up to those notes though.

She slayed the hell out of that. :jonny4:

I've been stanning her for... too many years but she still blows me away. I can't believe her voice is still so damn powerful after all these years. If anything, her mixing is markedly better than ever. In terms of vocals, she spoils us.

Here she goes again with the 'look ma no hands' notes that have no connection with the music. :rip:

Well, it's not like she's ripping off her vocal chords by being shouty or something. If she can do it, she MUST do it :johnald:

This is a regular issue with Kellyoke :monkey:

But they need to book her if the GRAMMYs ever do a tribute to Celine, so she can do the whole song.

My thoughts exactly, she's doing new things with her voice and showing such healthy technique that she hasn't in so long.  I don't know how she does it :jonny:

True. But what she lacks in musicality and agility she does make up in nonstop resonant, powerful belts.

Great cover and she did well

Not the best rendition I've seen of this song, but it was good

It's not like she's singing a Katy song and did all of that with no reason, the song required it and she slayed the hell out of it :jonny4:

So in All By Myself the band drops out completely for the climax note ("a-ny-mooore") and Céline goes a capella to literally signify that she is all by herself. There's also a key change upwards, which is meant to double the punch and make it sound like she's DEMANDING not to be by herself anymore. The whole point of the arrangement is to build up to that single climactic moment, and then the full band kicks in again, which is supposed to sound like a triumphant resolution (the singer will not be by herself anymore).

Kelly's voice is amazing and she's kept it in incredible shape, but all of that goes out the window when you have a random note that goes higher. :rip:

Anyway, yeah it's just a random TV performance but I wish she'd dig a little deeper into the storytelling of music. She's got the vocals down pat.

I read it as 'Katy' too for some reason.

Then I read the rest of the title, and was like 'wait, that doesn't sound right'. :priceless:

This is insanely beautiful and as good as the original. The nitpickers here are doing the most as usual

👏 👏 👏

Bravo.

I would go sharp or flat even on the verses. The fact that this is completely live is amazing despite an off note in the first chorus.

Ew why does she skip the bridge? If she was able to record it then she should be able to perform it no?
