americanlife Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Any odd/obscure songs you've heard in public? I'm sitting in a Burger King and they're playing Radio by Lana Del Rey. I've also heard You're Mine (Eternal) by Mariah Carey in the grocery store.
Technicolor Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I remember hearing Human Behavior by Bjõrk once on a KFC of all places , great taste though! 1 7
visions Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I've heard multiple unreleased Lana songs, one was TV In Black And White in a H&M nearly a decade ago The twink who did the playlist that day was crazy for that one, I hope they promoted him
glitch Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I heard Flame by Tinashe in a coffee shop in Barcelona once
UrMom Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago K-pop in public places still throws me. I hear a lot of NewJeans and TWICE at the mall.

Bc I heard queen of disaster in ******* McDonald's when I worked there 6 years ago.. and I know for a fact the music wasn't controlled by an actual employee
Mitsouko Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Kylie's Kiss Me Once at a pizza parlor on 56th and 3rd
Into The Void Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago A remix version of Charlie Puths How Long in a Smoothie King but not sure if that's weird. I don't often hear remix songs in public

Where are you now? Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago One time I heard '7 in the morning' (Unreleased Kesha demo) at a store and I was confused. 1
Romova99 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I remember someone played the entire Lotus album when it came out at a Bershka store in Mexico City, I used to work in front of the store so I heard it in full. Edited 6 hours ago by Romova99
psychodiva336 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago They once played the entirety of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Dedicated Side B" at my favorite Starbucks! I was super shocked when I heard the opening notes of "This Love Isn't Crazy", I thought my phone somehow connected itself to the store speakers 1
TipToe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I always get a jump scare when I'm at a grocery store and i listen to a b-side Beyoncé track... living in Brazil that happen quite often. The last one i heard was "My Man", a couple of weeks ago. Edited 1 hour ago by TipToe
Alldeezy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I Swear I heard All of the night and all of the day - Evermore cover once in queensland back in 07. Maybe it was the OG and I heard it in Jon's voice but I SWEAR it was the Evermore version
