No Oricon is more accurate in terms of what sold in Japan. Billboard is more accurate in terms of what sold overall. So if you're looking to see which groups are selling best within Japan you check out Oricon. Also Billboard was heavily reliant on sales until they did a chart reform around 2022 but they still have an issue with balancing them out.
