A PLENTIFUL TOP 20

KQ/RCA's ATEEZ is on track for a #1 opening at midweek as five new titles hit the Top 10—three of them K-Pop and one Latin. Meanwhile, Warner's Linkin Park will debut in the runner up spot with 99k.

In addition to the new releases in the Top 20 this week, Island's Shawn Mendes is poised to do 27k, while Sony Music Nashville's Brooks & Dunn looks to log 25k.

Now, if you don't mind, it looks like it might be time to start hunting for our Coachella home.

I was fully expecting Linkin Park to pull +200k or something, what the hell :deadbanana2:

Will Jin have the lowest debut out of all BTS guys? I feel like all the others did around 100k or more.

Awful numbers for Linkin Park tbh :deadbanana:but I'm sure their numbers will increase.

Gwen missing top 20 isn't that surprising, but lowkey still bad considering the insane amount of vinyl variants she's had.

Had to search what an 'Ateez' was and saw it's another k-pop group. Whatever

They haven't sold that much first week in over a decade so it makes sense.

Though considering their streaming numbers I did expect a bit more.

One More Light did 111k almost entirely carried by tour bundles, this is (market wise speaking) their most impressive opening since 2012 :michael:

A group with only 4k units coming from streaming. Not fishy at all :clack:

Yeah, but if I remember correctly OML was heavily panned and criticized by LP stans. This one, otherwise, seems to be very well received by their fans + the comeback's and new lead vocalist hype. I genuinely thought they would do at least +150k.

Linkin Park Numbers have to be wrong

The very minimum should be 150k

Their streaming numbers are insane, unless they are too global and the US is underperforming

their album is #7 on US Apple Music and they have only 1 song on US Spotify at #123

The comeback hype seemed very high to me, I mean, they even scheduled some stadiums. Guess the streaming numbers are coming from elsewhere.
