Does anyone remember the Lala music service?

This website was great. It was the first Spotify. You could make a free account, and listen to the album for free once. Then you could buy It for a discounted price. But Apple bought It, and then shut It down because It was killing ITunes. Used this religiously to listen to my favorite music.

 

Anyone remember It?

Never heard of it but it sounds like a great business model. Of course Apple had to intervene but that's just what it is.
