Space Cowboy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Imo: Moana 2 > Wicked > Mufasa > Gladiator > Sonic 3 Spoiler Moana 2: 1.3B-1.5B WICKED: 900M-1.1 B Mufasa: 700M-900M Gladiator II: 500M-600M Sonic 3: 300M-500M
Peroxide Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Moana 2: 850M-950M (Although I think that the opening weekend will be very strong I have a feeling it just won't be that good… it was supposed to be a mini serious for Disney + that's be frankensteined into a full film) - Wicked: 975M-1.075B (RT score will play a factor… I do think this has the potential to do Barbie numbers if all the stars align) - Mufasa: 700M-800M - Gladiator II: 550M-650M - Sonic 3: 250-350M (I think it might do even worse due to the overcrowded Christmas market) 1
UnusualBoy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Moana: 1-1.3 billion, although I still don't get the hype over this movie Wicked: 700 mill - 1 billion. Way too much hype for this to flop unless the word of mouth if awful Mufasa: 500. Did anyone actually ask for this? Gladiator II: 500 million or so. Sonic 3: 400 million? The movie looks good but haven't seen anyone talked about it.
Comedor Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Beyoncé's Mufasa highest grossing but wishing the best to other WOC Moana and Ariana.
Jessie Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I wouldn't be surprised to see Moana 2 challenging Inside Out 2 for highest grossing movie of the year / all-time animated. Tracking to do $200m+ over the 5 day Thanksgiving weekend is insane and on par with how The Super Mario Bros Movie exploded + it will have legs domestic and WW over the Christmas holidays too even with competition from Mufasa. It just needs to be good and the songs to be popular to reach max potential. Along with Wicked also having billion dollar potential and Gladiator pulling solid blockbuster numbers for adult audiences theatres are really have the best possible end to the year after such a disappointing start to Q4.
Da Vinci Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I can see Wicked doing BATB 2017/Frozen 1 numbers worldwide more or less
Kylizzle Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Moana is locked to do 1.5B+, anyone who has kids or is around kids often will be aware of that
Achilles. Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Moana 2 could smash to levels unseen if this audience actually shows up to the theatre.
JBJT2786 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yall acting like Sonic 3 isn't anticipated tho I think Sonic and Gladiator 2 will challenge for the lowest (Gladiators reviews have been meh) but I can see Sonic grossing 500M and beating Gladiator. Moana 2 will get a high opening weekend but if it's true that this is a tv series changed to a film last min... I don't know how the standing power will be. Wicked is honestly the best bet especially after the early praise it's gotten.
Fitzswiftie Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago Moana 2 - 1.4b WICKED - 1.2b Mufasa - $1.050b Gladiator II - $510m Sonic 3 - $470m
Gorjesspazze9 Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago Moana 2 is doing 1 Billion+. Probably 1.3ish, but I could see it doing more since Disney is back.
king_queen Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago Moana will outgross them all easily. I see it actually breaking records. Wtf is Gladiator 2 and Sonic 3 clearly I'm old now
Thuggin Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago Moana 2 - 1.5B Mufasa - 1B Wicked - 800M Gladiator II - 600M Sonic 3 - 450M
Johnny Jacobs Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago Moana 2 - 1.3b Mufasa - 900m Wicked - 750M Gladiator II - 550M Sonic 3 - 350M
NewStanner Posted 26 minutes ago Posted 26 minutes ago The fact that Mufasa movie is predicted to do well is a mystery to me. I mean, after the god-awful TLK remake, why would anyone want to see this? Spoiler Yes, I know that it made like 1.5B, but that was mostly based on the hype, since the original movie is such a classic. It still ended up getting universally PANNED, so why are we letting Disney smash again, especially after their recent remakes underperformed?
