Moana 2: 850M-950M (Although I think that the opening weekend will be very strong I have a feeling it just won't be that good… it was supposed to be a mini serious for Disney + that's be frankensteined into a full film)

-

Wicked: 975M-1.075B (RT score will play a factor… I do think this has the potential to do Barbie numbers if all the stars align)

-

Mufasa: 700M-800M

-

Gladiator II: 550M-650M

-

Sonic 3: 250-350M (I think it might do even worse due to the overcrowded Christmas market)

Moana: 1-1.3 billion, although I still don't get the hype over this movie

Wicked: 700 mill - 1 billion. Way too much hype for this to flop unless the word of mouth if awful

Mufasa: 500. Did anyone actually ask for this?

Gladiator II: 500 million or so.

Sonic 3: 400 million? The movie looks good but haven't seen anyone talked about it.

Beyoncé's Mufasa highest grossing but wishing the best to other WOC Moana and Ariana. :clap3:

I wouldn't be surprised to see Moana 2 challenging Inside Out 2 for highest grossing movie of the year / all-time animated. Tracking to do $200m+ over the 5 day Thanksgiving weekend is insane and on par with how The Super Mario Bros Movie exploded + it will have legs domestic and WW over the Christmas holidays too even with competition from Mufasa. It just needs to be good and the songs to be popular to reach max potential.

Along with Wicked also having billion dollar potential and Gladiator pulling solid blockbuster numbers for adult audiences theatres are really have the best possible end to the year after such a disappointing start to Q4.

I can see Wicked doing BATB 2017/Frozen 1 numbers worldwide more or less

Moana > Wicked > Mufasa > Gladiator > Sonic

Moana is locked to do 1.5B+, anyone who has kids or is around kids often will be aware of that

Moana 2 could smash to levels unseen if this audience actually shows up to the theatre.

Yall acting like Sonic 3 isn't  anticipated tho :rip:

I think Sonic and Gladiator 2 will challenge for the lowest (Gladiators reviews have been meh) but I can see Sonic grossing 500M and beating Gladiator.

Moana 2 will get a high opening weekend but if it's true that this is a tv series changed to a film last min... I don't know how the standing power will be.

Wicked is honestly the best bet especially after the early praise it's gotten.

Moana 2 is doing 1 Billion+. Probably 1.3ish, but I could see it doing more since Disney is back.

The fact that Mufasa movie is predicted to do well is a mystery to me. I mean, after the god-awful TLK remake, why would anyone want to see this?

Spoiler

Yes, I know that it made like 1.5B, but that was mostly based on the hype, since the original movie is such a classic. It still ended up getting universally PANNED, so why are we letting Disney smash again, especially after their recent remakes underperformed?
