The chart is based on consumption now and if a holiday song or a old song that has been used in a tv show is the most consumed it will be #1 I can imagine they will change the rules somewhat because labels may wine about their artists missing out a few spots during november/december...

If the streaming charts are dominated by Christmas songs then that should be reflected in the charts whether we like it or not.

The top 10s been basically the same for months and the Bar Song would otherwise just be no.1 for like 30 weeks, which just shows how stagnant the charts are getting...
