This woman embodies everything OTHs accuse Taylor of being - obsessed with charts to the point of engaging in fraudulent sales, silencing critics on social media according to this thread, completely lacking any talent from what i've seen, and making terrible music. Yet, these same people will stan her and conveniently pretend like she's this great artists with no flaws. You can't make this up, the hypocrisy is truly nauseating.

Meanwhile I streamed Grins live over and over before it was released and Nuclear Seasons was one of my favs at the time. I am not a fake fan of either, however Charli gets more of my respect long-term bc she hasn't turned her career into being the McDonald's of pop. I get it since there's some weird charli/taylor rivalry that has been fictionally exaggerated by the stan world, but it's still annoying to read as a relatively neutral person who likes both lol, just seems very forced

Charli has never been a vocalist or a good performer and I know she and her fans know that they are just only hyping it up to make her viral and have attention on her and putting Taylor on the discussion it's the easiest way.

 

Anyway both fandoms are insufferable with this made up drama, I just can't stand it to be honest like both are terrible performers and receive more acclaim than they deserve and that's it but I'm so happy for Charli to finally have the success she wanted with a sound that's true to herself, at the end her and Taylor are winning and that's all that matters
