No other film this year compares to the Denis Villaneuve's masterpice Dune: Part Two

 

Villeneuve has made a cinematic experience that stands above any other film this year
 

Yet the snobbish Academy will probably end up giving the major awards to some mediocre film that nobody cares about or a bland biopic, while relegating Dune to only the technical categories. Embarrassing.

Recently watched Anora and it was extremely "just ok".

 

I was like: "it's not bad, but is this really the frontrunner for best picture? ".

It probably won't even make my top 10 of the year tbh.

But they pale in comparison to Dune

i'm into sci-fi but i cannot understand why people are so hyped about this snoozefest...

the first one was a bore too but i somehow ended up finishing that
