Popular Post Radical Pessimism Posted 14 hours ago Popular Post Posted 14 hours ago Some of you are used to mediocre performers, so I assume you feel this is "too rehearsed" when you're supposed to rehearse for these big shows. No one pulls these kinds of shows anymore unless you're Bey or Madonna, etc. 23

I think it's because they forget that black people can come in many different shades and face symmetry while they're use to their pigment-less Ragu tomato sauce favorite artists. It's so EMBARRASSING. 4
shark_heather Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Lol the Beyonce hate on this forum is insane The jealousy, the need to bring her down This woman is without a doubt the best entertainer of our generation, the fact she is killing it for all these years at this point is possible she is not human Incredible Performance once again she topped herself ( cause she cannot compared with anyone but herself ) A pitty we didn't get Tyrant but i wouldn't change a thing from the whole set 1 8

RiseAndShine Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The lipsynching was overkill. Even on the Renaissance Tour she was able to make her lipsynched parts more believable. I don't know what happened here but it was too obvious. I didn't care much for the performance because I don't like the album but Beyonce is always gonna give 1000%. 1 2
OnlyManInTheWorld Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago That was simply not it and she's not it and I'm glad ATRL and the GP are finally starting to realize it. 2 12
Lady Claire Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I enjoyed the performance but ngl that i expected something more bombastic. But that's on me and my expectations because she always sets the bar so high Also, i wasn't a fan of the pre-recorded part. Starting with 16 Carriages felt a lil anticlimatic… should've started with YA YA that's pure high energy. Other than that it was a pretty standard Beyoncé performance… which means excellence and a showcase of a perfect popstar 1

LittleStarmen Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) weak songs. she did good but not gaggy Edited 13 hours ago by LittleStarmen 2
OnlyManInTheWorld Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Did she even sing live at least for a second? Omg. 1 5
BnPac Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I just realized she enede the performance like she ended the Renaissance tour, with a platform carrying her during Summer Renaissance.

You lot have wanted that for years and it still hasn't and won't happen this is what a real performer looks like, you're simply not qualified to talk about what is "it" 5
ChooseyLover Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) This was incredible. I have my own thoughts on using animals for entertainment (dancers standing on top of horses, really?) and I don't care much about the Jolene cover but everything else was immaculate. It was a surprise to see Blue Ivy doing the choreo as well. Edited 13 hours ago by ChooseyLover
Mariano Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 2 hours ago, Disconnect said: I did love the performance but the pre-recorded vocals were throwing me off a little, although it is a well known fact she always sings live on tour and this kind of playback is something very common and sometimes even mandatory in this type of events so, don't try and come for her as if your fave had never lip synced . If she sang it all live it would be one of the best performances ever, but she didn't sing it live so it kinda really draws it back. It doesn't go all the way there this way, but it's ok. Still like many have said, this is a performance almost nobody else can pull off with very few exceptions so yeah. The scale of the performance was INSANE this has to be one of the most expensive performances ever I guessing the budget came from Netflix and NFL so it makes sense, but still. So many dancers, people, so many props, the crew must've been HUGE etc. She is such a LEGEND. Honestly the pre recorded bit was not necessarily in the beginning. I get it's like an intro, but yeah. I think she should've just incorporated 16 carriages into the performance itself and that's it.

I remember seeing you around but I always thought for some reason that's Tyra in your photo - haha that's so cool justice for YaYa!!

I do feel like the album deserves a tour or at least a residency so the rest of the songs can get their shine. Frankly a full Yaya performance is what dreams are made of. 1
Klein Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Just watched the performance. Unsurprisingly, she's taking it. I was a bit surprised in the beginning. I thought the whole performance was gonna be "backstage" and was very confused. Didn't really care about that part tbh. But when she's actually performing live? Oh I'm living for it! The setlist was amazing and I always knew the live instrumentation of Yaya would not disappoint. The public was dead though and that bothered me (but maybe that's just the video and the actual crowd was more alive). I really enjoyed that it felt like a combination of her Coachella set and the Thanksgiving HT performance with DC, but make it the Cowboy Carter version. Spoiler I felt so bad for Blue when she messed up the choreo
niktperkins Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Even though I m a fan of hers, she looked really uncomfortable and not enjoying it. The whole jay z situation seem to have affected her. 2
