Not to be a downer but I still don't know why everyone is convinced that she's dropping Tour Dates after this. Like where are y'all getting these hints from!?

Please tell MEEEE!!! :deadbanana:

It's just wishful thinking but chances are big she's announcing something important. I just hope it's not the freakin Renaissance Tour film, why would she use the first performances of a current alberm to release something from an old era? :rip:

She's finally campaigning! A couple of more television appearances, some magazine covers and more music events leading up to the Grammys would be great.

I can see a magazine but other than that, she's ghosting us until Grammy night after this

The last three solo Beyoncé tours have coincided with a high-profile performance (MCSWT after the 2013 SB, FWT after the 2016 Super Bowl, and RWT after Dubai) PLUS OTRII after Coachella.

when this end up being a prerecorded performance and I wasted my money on a ticket and she forces me to sit through men tackling each other. we can win in some ways.

I have maybe the dumbest question ever, but I'm not sure how it will work - it's staying on Netflix to stream it after right?

Out of curiosity…what do viewership metrics typically look like on Xmas day football games?  And what are we anticipating for a lift from that?

additionally what does viewership look like for Xmas day football games vs the superbowl viewership?

Last year the Xmas game had 27M viewers, but that was on TV, sport games usually have less viewers on streaming.  The superbowl has 120M viewers.

Nothing about this was predictable, we didn't even know Netflix would be airing this game :rip:

It was predictable that she would perform at a halftime show that until now had not had any big names performing? :clown:

I don't mean this in a bad way at all/I'm not being shady. She usually doesn't campaign during Grammys, which I think, other factors included, hurts her chances for the AOTY win. She just seems to be making an effort this time which I think is great.

You're probably right and in that case she better do a THR cover at the very least.

It's American football, the season starts in early fall and basically ends with the Superbowl.  The teams compete during the season to try and make it to the Superbowl. Same for most other sports around the world.

This is a game that they're publicizing because it's playing on Christmas, which in America, a lot of families gather, and will have sports playing, same with Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving is a big football day, and it seems like they're pushing for Christmas to be the same

Non-American here: So there are three "halftime" shows: Thanksgiving, Christmas day and the Superbowl?

Not really.  There is one "halftime".  However the NFL is fundamentally an entertainment business and has been looking for ways to increase viewership.  So they have been trying to make the Thanksgiving halftime a thing and also have been adding games from mostly just Sunday to every day of the week.

Personally I never knew they played on Christmas but this might be a new thing.
