Richie Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Ummm I need more context because this chick did a full music video mimicking Britney's Slave 4 U and Christina's Dirrty… so this cant be shady, right? 2

Tate herself may not have been around for early Brit/Xtina, but the artistic directors, choreographers etc she works with were. 23
Cap87 Posted November 17 Posted November 17 This fraud!!!! The Britney cosplay did not work, so now she gets to be herself now and not what the label was forcing her to be maybe she might have some success now I guess 3 1 1

Don't know what the context is but she was probably asked how she feels being compared to our 2 beloved Legend Xs?? Cause why would she go out of her way to make that distinction out of nowhere 1
sweetkiss Posted November 17 Posted November 17 lucky her because times to be a women then were even worse, britney pushed the public and culture a lot and its a shame it was all on her back 3
tost1 Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Did she just call me old? Oh miss mcrae when I get you... 1 3
Capris Groove Posted November 17 Posted November 17 (edited) That's so crazy that these people don't know about pop culture before the year they were born. I was 1 when Janet released Together Again but I still remember it cuz it was played all the time on MTV. And I grew up with all sorts of older stuff too so it's still engrained in my brain. Popular Post glitch Posted November 17 Popular Post Posted November 17 I've noticed she seems kinda clueless about her musical influences. It's like someone in her team told her they wanted her to be a Britney type artist and she just nodded. 4 1 10
Robburro Posted November 17 Posted November 17 well she didn't lie but she could at least give them flowers... Olivia wasnt born during Let Go and yet she made sure to give Avril her flowers 2
Kool_Aid_King Posted November 17 Posted November 17 You don't have to be born or experience something firsthand to be influenced by anything. I get what she's saying, but she could've worded it better. 3
ariananext Posted November 17 Posted November 17 (edited) I feel the same way, I grew up with Ariana, Miley, Selena, Demi, Taylor, Bieber and the Jonas Brothers. I had no siblings nor other teenagers older than me showing me the other MPGs. I never gained interest in others when I tried to listen to their discographies and I never minded it because I simply listen to what I enjoy. Edited November 17 by ariananext 4 2
