It is a bit ridiculous. At 17 you are still practically a kid, no matter how mature or educated you are.

I'm psychologist and yes I could study, memorize and learn all the books at 17 but no way you should be able to practice.

There is a reason why there are different levels of education which should be maintain based on age and not only on theoretical knowledge.

I guess it is normal only in US, no wonder it looks like it there then ...

Agreed. You can have all the book smarts in the world, but it does you no good without real-world experience and practice.

Privileged teenager raised in ivory tower with no sense of reality to help imprison the disadvantaged, how great. :suburban:

Spoiler

Maybe become a scientist and do something useful if you're that smart or whatever.

I'm 25 and I still don't think I have enough lived experience to be a prosecutor the way I want to be :rip: Whoever thinks this is a good idea is being negligent

Awful.

She may be extremely book smart, but she needs to live a lot more life before becoming a prosecutor imo.

Learn the difference between a lawyer and a prosecutor.

You don't think prosecutors are doing something useful? They're the ones responsible for the cases against rapists, murderers, child predators.

Aren't these exams like really hard and with real-life scenario/situations? (that's how they are in my country, idk about USA)

There are 13 year old children who cannot read at 2nd grade level, and extremely idiotic adults (not talking about learning impediment / disability). I say good for her.
