Leona Lewis has a nice career. agree?

She is often regarded as a "one-hit-wonder" here on this forum or Stan twitter, which is false. Leona imo has had a pretty decent career, especially for the fact that she was a TV-contestant winner and these tend to not really have much success outside of their home countries, expect for a few like Leona and One Direction.

Her debut album "Spirit" and the debut single "A Moment Like This" both went #1 in the UK and that kicked off her career pretty well. Then, the second single became an international classic, also known as "Bleeding Love", this became a chart topper in almost 30 countries, including the US, UK and Germany.

The image features a black-haired woman sitting in front of a black background. She is wearing a short dress and bracelets on her right wrist. In front of her, the words "Forgive Me" in cursive letters appear while below those words, "Leona Lewis" is written in capital letters.Black-and-white picture of a woman that grabs her neck with her left hand. She looks something or someone at her right and she sightly smiles. In front of the image, the word "Run" is written in white italics, and "Leona Lewis" in golden capital letters.

The third single "Better In Time", a mid-tempo ballad, became another global hit, peaking within the Top 10 almost everywhere and having a nice US peak within the Top 15. The album's fourth single "Forgive Me" also had a decent international run, peaking inside the Top 10 in Sweden, the UK and Italy.

The album's fifth and now finale (except for the US) single, became Leona's signature ballad, even becoming an even bigger success than her blockbuster Bleeding Love in countries like Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Run was also #1 in the UK and Ireland. Becoming Leona's third one in each country. Run become Leona's third song to see success in North America as well, even climbing up as high as #13 in Canada and charting in the US.

The fourth US single "I Will Be" performed quite good on US pop radio charts and helped the song gain and get a peak inside the Billboard Hot 100 Top 70 due to a great radio response and digital sales.

In front of her image the words "Leona" and "Happy" are written in black capital letters and inside a purple box, while "Lewis" is in white capital letters appearing in a silver box.220px-Leona_Lewis_-_One_More_Sleep_%28Official_Single_Cover%29.png

She had a decently successful sophomore release with "Echo" charting across the globe and going #1 on release week in the UK with 160k+ copies. The lead single "Happy" made it to the Top 5 in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and the UK. Happy also peaked inside the Top 10 in Japan and was a cute Top 40 success on the US Billboard Hot 100. Becoming Leona's fifth chart entry in the US.

Three more Top 10's followed for Leona in the UK with "Collide", "Trouble" and the Christmas carol "One More Sleep".

One More Sleep has been re-entering the charts in European countries for years now during the Christmas season, including the Netherlands, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland. It is now double Platinum certified in the UK.

Very cute, very brave and very cool of you to share Leona's humble accomplishments with ATRL.

Her best song tbh. The way it lowkey flopped and then Run smashed :toofunny2: People just wanted power ballads, which was a really bad sign

She should cover Jingle Bells

Could've been way better and longer, and I say that as a fan.

I disagree because Glassheart is her best album and the title track is her best song, but the GP didn't care.

Plus, this song should've been Despacito 2.0.

She gave Selena her best song, A Year Without Rain, so for that alone I have to say yes

Leona was goooood. I loved her first 3 albums, especially Glassheart.

Considering she was on a reality tv show to start her career, yeah. She has. She's also turned down several songs that wound up being huge hits so… idk. Could've been better though.

this iconic cover still gives me chills

She deserved better and Bleeding Love is one of the best pop songs of all time :clap3:

Her career isn't anything to scoff at, but she still deserved more. Glassheart is a magnificent album that largely was overlooked
