... would you get a standing ticket or a seat?

I just went to my first solo one last month! I got a seat, but it was on the floor so I was standing up anyways.

I saw Sky this September alone, standing. Had a cute kii with a gaggle of gays and randomly a 30 year old mom.

i went to two concerts alone (the second one i ended up meeting up with some friends i met online month(s) prior to going lol)

both were standing. the first concert was the House of Independents in Asbury Park, there were no seats and had a capacity of 200 people.

the second was at the Etess Arena in the Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.

Never went alone. My friends and i have a pact to go to each others things even if we don't like it.

Don't have only straight friends yall :chick3:

either one is fine for me tbh

Either or; I've gone to a concert solo (met up with some people, though).

Standing!

Definitely standing - I always go for standing. It's usually closer to the stage and you can choose your spot more easily whereas if you buy a seat you're stuck there.

Standing. There's always other solo people who are usually very friendly.

I've done both a seat and standing solo. If you do standing on your own, you can easily mingle with the other solo concert goers too.

I've only gone to one alone but I got a standing ticket

Either

standing, I think for the duration of the show you don't care about the people you're with especially if you really are into the artist, I'm front rows or nothing usually

Posted

i only buy seated regardless of going solo or with someone. i think it's a lot more comfy (and usually cheaper too) and you still have the option to stand up and dance if you wish to

Posted

Depends. If I just wanna see an artist as a casual fan, I'll buy a seat for comfort.

But if I'm a big fan, I'm always gonna buy a standing ticket. In these cases I wanna be as close to the stage as possible!!!

For my faves, Nothing But Thieves, I went solo and it was all standing area. But their concerts aren't made to be seated anyways :giraffe:

I don't care about being that close to the stage so a seat.

Depends on the artist.

If it's a high energy pop show, then a standing one to be able to dance.

But if it's more of a chill kind of show, then seating is ok.

I'd get standing and VIP package to treat myself :giraffe:

I've been to

Allday (3 times)

Illy

360

Stray Kid

Nessa Barrett x2 (one waiting 12 hours for barricade)

Raye

Bring me the horizon

Jonas Brothers

The amity Affliction

and Most were Standing except JB, Amity, SKZ, BMTH  but standing I was at barricade :dies: I feel its easier when you are by yourself at the front

And going to a musical festival on my own in 2 weeks? I don't have friends or anyone so I kinda have to? For someone like me who's got mega anxiety it isn't that bad since im always either are barricade or seated and at one concert I even made friends at the meet & greet.  It's better doing that since that way you can go early and don't have to pay more money for a extra ticket

I've only gotten seat tickets but I had a great time.

Both are fine tbh. Usually standing but occasionally seated.
