It peaked at #2 on the Hot 100, blocked by 50 Cent's "Candy Shop" and spent 20 weeks in the top 10 and charted for 46 weeks - tying "Breakaway" as her longest charting single.

 

It is her most streamed song on Spotify with over 800M+ streams on Spotify and won a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal

 

 Rolling Stone ranked it at number 482 of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2010 and at number 93 in the revamped 2021 ranking, while Billboard ranked it as the fifth greatest pop song of all time.

I wonder if P!nk turned it down because she knew it would be a surefire hit and didn't want to give the label an "I told you so!" moment when they tried to rush her to release an album in 2003. 

 

This track in a way saved P!nk's career.
