I see your point but:

 

- Firework attached to a major holiday in the US and Katy Perry's brand has always allowed her to play in a cringe space (Firework, Roar, Rise)

- Fight song agree with you but one hit wonder no?

- Hero and Greatest Love Of All are NOT cringe (not to me anyway, plus the 80s/90s was all about the power ballad 😭)

It's funny you say that when Yoũ and Ǐ scanned diamond in my household where as the others you mentioned have not.
