TruGemini Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Welcome! I am Janet Van Dyne, but most of you will know me as The Wasp. When I'm not out defending the world from the most fearsome foes, I spend my time as a fashion designer for some of the world's biggest names. And now you have the opportunity to have me design your next stunning costume…but first you must play my game. The game is simple. Serve, win, eliminate, repeat! Each round, you will present a look that responds to my prompt. After entries are collected, you all will rate and score each others looks. The person with the highest average will win the round, becoming the "Stunner", and the lowest, who we call the "Shunned" will be automatically nominated. The Stunner will nominate one person to sit beside the Shunned on the elimination block. Every other player will vote to eliminate one of the two, and that player will go home. However, as we all know, in the world of superheroes and supervillains, nothing is certain. There will be quite a few daring twists along the way to shift the power structure of the game! Now then, simple enough. Do you have what it takes to win my game? RULES You must choose one fictional character, they must be originated from a comic book or manga series. Live Action and Animated versions are not allowed in this competition. Submitted entries are almost always going to be of pure character art. The photo and its relation to the prompt is to be judged, not just the outfit, so pick someone with a good amount of solo covers/pages/stills. Art made and officially licensed by the character of the company is allowed, even if it's not from an actual printed book. However, to ensure fairness, ALL ENTRIES MUST CITE THEIR SOURCES. When submitting your entry, you must submit either the specific issue that your cover/still is from, or a link to the original image from the artist. For example, THIS is allowed: Credits: Ultimate Invasion #1 Cover by Peach Momoko This is NOT Allowed: Basically, if it hasn't been sold as a variant/cover by the company, don't use it. There is some leeway for art made by artists and sold at places like SDCC booths that can be dealt with on a case by case basis. Also, no AI. You all see how shitty the logo for this game looks right? It's not worth it when there is so much great art out here. Thats all, message me with any other questions. You don't have to be a nerd to play this, just pick a comic character and play this like any other ATRL fashion game! 1
orange22 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 This didn't deserve to flop. @TruGemini there's something here mama let's research
orange22 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Maybe "ATRL Heroes vs Villains" as a title would get a ratings bump or "Edna Mode & Janet Van Dyke present…" since JVD a bit of an unknown and Edna is a legend
