Before people bring up Ellen Burstyn in "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" & Lily Gladstone in "Killers Of The Flower Moon", while several actresses have gotten Oscar wins or nominations for his projects, he doesn't always make women the center protagonists of his films (even Sharon Stone has more of a supporting role in "Casino" than lead in her only nomination for Best Actress).

I don't care for Hollywood (Music's different imo... sort of) but this person who lives in Tennessee and married to a country singer (albeit they're Australians but who cares) and she's done the most to get women into the door. Other A-List Actresses who are knee deep in California's supposed liberalism could care less and haven't done as much.

nicole godman is mother. she set out to only work with female directors and did exactly that for years with movies and TV shows.

right. cause james cameron went down with the Titanic and Ridley Scoot went into space before making Alien 

 

these men don't care about women or minorities, if they cared they would get into the work and embrace our stories and community.
