Ewan Chaos Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Copycat claims get thrown around like 10 times a day these days that anytime there's a really obvious one like this it's just so funny to me And posting the pic with just "REF" sjdishdioshds shameless!! 2

ICLDXU4HS Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago That corny album trailer or whatever that is too. Imagine how tired we are. 1
swissman Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago usually, when we do the whole "x copied y" thing in pop, I find it silly because pop is and has always been about referencing things in order to appeal to the masses, or to find new sources of inspiration, so I really do want to defend Lil Nas X but... ya... even though he posted the reference, to so boldly recreate a peer's work adding little if anything of your own to it reveals something wildly uncreative and entitled to the use of others' creativity. if I were Sega I'd be very annoyed. It's part of what is so annoying about this current social media era where challenges and memes and ideas are so readily taken and redone (and encouraged to be taken and redone) and the original creators often get little to know recognition or gain from it meanwhile those with larger followings benefit from it the most. 10
Musicmajor Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Yeah, this is pretty copy and paste. Why do artists do this, knowing damn well they're going to be called out for it? 2

John Slayne Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago i came here to drag sega but that literally is just a copy... couldn't @nasmaraj hire an art director to come up with something else?

J-esper Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Most of Lil Nas X career is based on controversy or stuff to get attention this is all intentional and like he always does
Uncatena Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago this is like the second time someone copied this exact photo lmfao if I were Sega I would be cease and desisting all over the place.
